Urban Adventure: Warsaw Public Transport Rally – April 12

On Saturday, April 12, one of the most unique city challenges returns to Warsaw – the Public Transport Rally 2025, organized by the SGH Geography Student Association.

Create a 2–3 person team and take on the challenge of visiting as many designated city locations as possible in 4 hours, using only public transport and your own two feet. Along the way, there will be opportunities to earn bonus points through mini-challenges and win exciting prizes.

The event starts at 11:00 AM at the SGH campus and is open to adults (children can accompany participants). It’s a one-of-a-kind way to discover the city’s corners from a whole new perspective.

Roll Into Spring: Nightskating Warsaw – April 26

Rollerbladers, rejoice the 2025 Nightskating season officially kicks off on Saturday, April 26!

Starting at 8:30 PM (gathering from 7:30 PM by the Copernicus Monument on Krakowskie Przedmieście), this community night ride covers 18.5 km of illuminated city streets.

It’s more than just a ride – it’s an experience full of movement, music, and Warsaw’s magic after dark. Whether you’re a seasoned skater or just getting back on wheels, this is the perfect way to greet spring with energy. Participation is free!

Weekend Garden Walks – Botanical Garden of the University of Warsaw

Embrace the season’s bloom during themed walks through the historic Botanical Garden, located near the Royal Łazienki. Led by experienced guides, these one-hour strolls combine relaxation with insights into art, literature, and nature.

From centuries-old trees to stories of inspiration drawn from flora, each tour offers a quiet, thoughtful escape from the city rush. Group size is limited, and participation requires a standard garden ticket and a free pass picked up on-site.

Spring dates include April 4, 6, 12, and 13 at 1:00 PM.

Learn Something New: Basic ECG Interpretation Course – April 12

For those in the medical field, this practical and intensive EKG interpretation course offers a solid foundation in reading electrocardiograms. Taking place on April 12 at the Arche Residence Puławska hotel, it’s aimed at healthcare professionals in hospitals, ERs, or primary care.

The course includes all-day refreshments, educational materials, and a certificate. A great chance to gain confidence in recognizing heart conditions and applying knowledge directly in clinical settings.

Praga by Vintage Bus – Every Saturday

"Drop the act and come to Praga" – that’s what Warsaw locals have been saying for decades.

On Saturdays at 11:00 AM, hop on a vintage Jelcz "Ogórek" bus and travel back in time through the charming and historic Praga district. With cobbled alleys, hidden shrines, and old factories, Praga offers a glimpse into pre-war Warsaw.

A knowledgeable guide brings these locations to life with fascinating stories: how “bimberstrasse” got its name, who Wicuś the sailor was, and where “White Deer” soap was produced. The tour departs from Plac Defilad and is a must-do for anyone curious about Warsaw’s soulful east side.
